In each game a player is given 15 trivia questions with multiple choice answers, although 20 seconds is given to answer each question, a player should answer as quickly as possible to achieve the best score. Each game shall select questions randomly from a pool of questions.
This is a game of speed and our clock measures to 1/1000 of a second. While the game is a race to answer questions as quickly as possible, players may also pause the game between questions.
Each game will begin at 21.15 on a Sunday evening and players must complete all 15 questions before the game closes at 21.00 the following Sunday, to be in with a chance of appearing on the leader board and winning a cash prize.
The game can be played multiple times by an individual player until 9pm on the Sunday when the game closes, and the final winners are announced. Each game played is an extra opportunity to win a prize.
Each correct answer is point scored with extra bonus points awarded for correct consecutive answers. The faster the correct answer is provided, the more points awarded. For example, if a question is answered in 10 seconds your score is calculated as 20 seconds minus 10 seconds = 10,000 points . If you answered correctly much faster, say in 2.540 seconds, then 17,460 points will be awarded (20 seconds minus 2.540 seconds = 17,460 points.)
If you correctly answer any two consecutive questions, then you get a bonus of 1,000 points added to your score.
Therefore, the players who give the fastest correct consecutive answers will win cash prizes and appear on the live leader board. The leader board is updated throughout the week and will be finalised when the game closes at 21.00 on a Sunday evening.
As our clock is calculating how quickly you answer a question to 1 thousandth of a second, the chance of a tie after answering 15 questions, is extremely small. In the rare event of a tie, our system will automatically order players by adding criteria points.
These criteria points will be calculated by analysing who answered one of their questions, correctly, the quickest. In the event that more than one player has the same result, then the next question answered the quickest will be analysed and then a third, if required.
If any positions are still tied after the above process has been followed, then those positions will then be randomised.
